Todd is an illustrator, designer, and copywriter with 20 years’ experience.
He's created award-winning logo designs, posters, websites, and advertising. But his favorite part of the job is creating worlds, telling stories, and drawing on anything that will take ink, lead, or crayon.
Todd's clients include Jacksonville Jazz Festival, Cape Lookout Studies Program, Beaufort Wine & Food Festival, and Squadron Signal Publications. He also spent a recent summer as a story-telling pirate which, as it turns out, is strangely relevant experience for a picture book writer/illustrator.
Todd Sturgell adores picture books, dinosaurs, and nature. He lives and hikes near Asheville, NC with his wife, his two daughters, and his dog, Max.
